Tools and Techniques to achieve more

1. Providing Direction and Context for Tasks

When faced with a task many people just get into action. And too often their managers say "I'm sorry, but that’s not what I wanted, could you try again!".

At Impact Intelligence we use a Quad of Aims – the most powerful tool known to management to develop direction and buy-in!

The Quad demands an exploration of purpose, as well as of the customer, the required end result, and the measurable success criteria. By the end of any of our workshops participants leave knowing how to get clarity of direction, total team buy-in, and a powerful and meaningful action plan!

2. Change Management

Of all the techniques for helping progress change, we have found that Force Field Analysis represents one of the most powerful. Besides clarifying the drivers for and constraints on change, it supports a weighted prioritisation of either. This helps determine whether more drivers should be identified, and which of the constraints should be addressed in terms of their strength as a blocker, as well as our ability to overcome them.

3. Alternative Thinking

The third most powerful tool in your armoury.

'Thinking outside the box' is easier said than done! Our Assumption Busting technique forces alternative thinking, and significantly increases the ability to effect outcomes and overcome constraints.

4. Facilitation

The fourth tool brings together several techniques to help ensure that in 1 hour max you have delivered a brilliantly facilitated and productive meeting with everyone involved and on-board!

"The LAMP Programme has helped improve managers' awareness of the impact they have on their staff, and provided the tools and techniques that make for effective leadership and management.

The participants' response has been extremely positive. I strongly recommend this programme."
