Our Personal Impact workshops are 2 x 2 day modules, the first focusing on developing personal confidence and providing a framework for ’swaying hearts and minds’; the second provides the tools and techniques for developing powerful influencing strategies.

TheTelephone Impact Workshop

Our Telephone Support Staff workshops develop their influencing styles so as to maximise their telephone impact.

Dealing with irate, confused or stubborn customers with the appropriate style significantly increases support staff confidence and efficiency. Less delays, repeats or escalations!

Leadership elearning

What differentiates our approach to elearning is that it helps support behaviour change, not just understanding.

So our Leadership Experience (here) and StylesMaker elearning programme (here) use video, diagnostics and feedback to help individuals, often working in pairs, to practise and develop the range of influencing styles required to maximise their impact at work.

• The StylesMaker eLearning programme helps busy people master the impact they at the speed they choose.

• The programme contains audio and video clips to aid practise and learning, downloadable material, and quizzes.

Content

The programme consists of 5 modules in total, together with an introduction.

Introduction

Background to the programme, with learning aims and methodology.

Module 1 – Introduction to Influencing Styles

‘Push’ and ‘Pull’, and the two styles of each (Directive, Driving, Energising and Enabling). Uses manager developing her own influencing style skills. Quiz.

Module 2 – The Influencing Styles Report.

Explains the individual preferences for given influencing styles, using President Obama to refresh understanding of the 4 styles. Individual Influencing Style reports downloaded. Examination of strengths and weaknesses. Quiz

Module 3  - The Personal Impact Report.

Introduction to the 16 Impact Types. Downloading of individual Personal Impact Report. Quiz.

 Module 4 – Developing Strategic Influencing Plans

Introduction to the Influencing Planning Grid, with examples and application to one of their own issues. Quiz.

Module 5 – Case Studies

The application of the learning is illustrated in 3 case studies, and participants invited to submit their own, with the chance of winning a place on a Personal Impact public course.
